A WordPress VPS on Vpster is a one-click app on Ubuntu, not a managed host. You fund the USD wallet from $20, pick a city with IPv4 stock, pick WordPress, and the debit takes the plan from that balance. After the debit, access is instant.
You still get root SSH and a dedicated IPv4. The CMS is software on the disk. We do not log in to update plugins, harden wp-admin, or tune PHP for you.
Change the OS password and the WordPress admin password on first login. Restrict wp-admin if you do not want that path on the public address. What you get
The apps list is the same monthly cloud as a bare OS. WordPress fits the usual monthly sizes, including Linux-only Spark, Nano, and Starter. cPanel & WHM is the image that needs 4 GB (Core and above).
- One public IPv4, 1 Gbps DDoS-protected port
- Transfer 1 to 16 TB by plan, not unmetered
- Panel and first-login steps in the same mail as SSH
A rebuild or change OS wipes the live disk, including uploads and the database. Take a snapshot first, or copy the site off, if you still want it.
First login
The console shows IPv4, user, and password. WordPress admin is a second secret. Leave it as mailed only until you are in. Then rotate both.
Lawful use still applies. Attacks, malware, phishing, and unsolicited bulk email are banned on a CMS image the same as on a bare OS. Read the Acceptable use policy before you leave WordPress on the public internet.
Start from Apps or Deploy after the wallet has at least $20. Checkout is crypto only.
