PostgreSQL on Vpster is a one-click app on Ubuntu. The database runs in Docker and listens on port 5432. You still get root SSH and a dedicated IPv4. You create roles, take dumps, and decide who can open 5432.
Fund the USD wallet from $20, pick a city with stock, and pick PostgreSQL. This image has no 4 GB floor. cPanel & WHM is the catalog entry that needs Core or larger. After the debit, access is instant.
Port 5432 is on the public address until you close it. A dedicated IPv4 does not hide the database.
What stays on the disk
Data lives in the Docker volume on that instance. A rebuild or change OS removes it. Take a snapshot on the instance page first, or run pg_dump to a place you control, before you click either one.
The console mails the SSH user and password with the rest of first-login access. Rotate the database password after you are in. We do not manage queries, upgrades, or backups after that mail.
Who this image is for
Use it when the application should talk to Postgres on the same box, or when a known client must reach 5432. For a bare OS and your own packages, pick Debian or Ubuntu on Deploy instead of this image.
The rest of the app list, including MariaDB and Redis, is on Apps. Checkout stays crypto only.
