A Docker VPS on Vpster is a one-click Ubuntu image, not a managed Kubernetes cluster. You fund the USD wallet from $20, pick a city with IPv4 stock, pick Docker, and the debit takes the plan from that balance. After the debit, access is instant.
You still get root SSH and a dedicated IPv4. Root is yours. We do not log in to pin images, rotate secrets, or close a Docker API you left on the public address.
Change the OS password on first login. Do not leave a Docker socket or API on 0.0.0.0 unless you meant to.What you get
The app is software on the disk. Portainer is a separate one-click if you want a web UI. Most monthly sizes can run Docker, including Linux-only Spark, Nano, and Starter. cPanel is the image that still needs 4 GB.
- One public IPv4, 1 Gbps DDoS-protected port
- Transfer 1 to 16 TB by plan, not unmetered
- Typical login
ssh root@YOUR.IPV4on port22
A rebuild or change OS wipes the live disk, including volumes. Take a snapshot first, or copy data off, if you still want it. Resize goes up only.
First login
The console shows IPv4, user, and password. Put your own key in authorized_keys and disable password login if that is your policy. Leave 22 open to the world only if you accept that risk.
Lawful use still applies. Attacks, scanners, botnets, and unsolicited bulk email are banned on a container host the same as on a bare OS. Read the Acceptable use policy.
Start from Apps or Deploy after the wallet has at least $20. Checkout is crypto only.
